Universal Beijing Resort Will Resume Operations on October 31

To comply with the pandemic prevention and control policies of Beijing, Universal Beijing Resort has implemented deep cleaning and disinfection and full risk assessment measures and will resume operations on October 31. Specific arrangements are as follows:

  • Universal Studios Beijing will reopen on October 31. The operation hours are 10:00 to 19:00.
  • Universal CityWalk Beijing will reopen on October 31. The operation hours are 8:00 to 21:00.
  • The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel will reopen at 9:00am on October 31.

Based on the current pandemic situation, some attractions and shows may be temporarily unavailable, reduced or adjusted due to the early stage of reopening. We will pay close attention to the local pandemic prevention and control policies and resume normal operations as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. The specific operational hours, venues opening status and show arrangement details will be updated on Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alibaba Mini Program and WeChat Mini Program. To help your trip planning, please check for further updates in advance of your visit.

We will do our best to comply with pandemic prevention and control requirements balanced with a quality guest experience. We understand some guests may need to rearrange their travel plan due to pandemic control or the temporary operation adjustment and we will provide park tickets refund or exchange for guests who wish to reschedule their visits to other dates. Please contact your original purchase channel for inquiries or assistance.

A safe and happy resort environment requires active participation by all guests and team members in adhering to the pandemic prevention and control measures. Universal Beijing Resort Ticket Refund and Exchanges

To comply with pandemic prevention and control, Universal Beijing Resort will implement the related requirement. Universal Studios Beijing, Universal CityWalk Beijing, The Universal Studios Grand Hotel, and NUO Resort Hotel have been temporarily closed from Oct.26th to 30th ,2022 and resume operations since Oct.31. For affected guests, please refer to the ticket refund and exchange guidelines as below for details. At the same time, we’re implementing a series of thorough cleaning and disinfection and NATs in the resort. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

  • Tickets

Guests with Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket, 1.5-Day Dated Ticket on Oct. 26th to 30th, 2022 will be fully refunded. Guest with Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket, 1.5-Day Dated Ticket with visitation date after Oct. 30th, 2022, please refer to Universal Beijing Resort’s existing refund policies. Guest with VIP experience, Universal Express Pass and Universal Express Single Attraction on Oct. 26th to 30th ,2022 will be automatically fully refunded. For guests who have purchased their tickets through Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alibaba Mini Program, WeChat Mini program, the Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort JD Flagship Store and the Contact Center the refund of full payment through the original purchase channel will be processed automatically within 3 days. For guests who have purchased the tickets through other official channels, please contact the original ticket purchase channel to request a refund.

For guests with unused Universal Studios Beijing General Admission Ticket, new visitation date can be booked after resort resumes normal operations.

Guests who bound a Universal Studios Beijing Ticket Gift voucher to their accounts in the Universal Beijing Resort official APP and have already redeemed it for a Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket (I.e., have selected a visitation date, provided guest identification information and received a Ticket Order Confirmation Message) on Oct. 26th to 30th ,2022, the refund of full payment through the original purchase channel will be processed automatically within 3 days. please call the Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center (please refer to contact information below) for refund requests.

  • Universal Studios Beijing Summer and Autumn Leisure Pass

For guests holding a valid Universal Beijing Resort Summer and Autumn Leisure Pass and/or from Oct. 26th, 2022, the validity period of the card will be extended based on the impacted period. The validity of Universal Beijing Resort Summer and Autumn Leisure Pass Benefits will be extended accordingly. The updated expiry date of the pass is available to view on the Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alibaba Mini Program, WeChat Mini program, the Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store.

  • Hotels

For guests who have booked The Universal Studios Grand Hotel or NUO Resort Hotel for the night of Oct.26th to 30th, 2022 through Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alibaba Mini Program, WeChat Mini program, the Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store and the Contact Center, they will obtain an automatic full refund through the original purchase channel within 3 days. For guests who purchased the products through other official channels, please contact the original purchase channel to request a refund.
