Annual Passholders participating in Universal’s Chinese New Year Preview will receive one Universal’s Chinese New Year-themed Annual Passholder-exclusive physical button, in advance by wearing the event wristband when they visit the "Universal Chinese New Year Square" on the evening of January 17th.
*Annual Passholders who did not participate in this event can claim a physical button voucher from January 24th, 2025, to February 13th, 2025. After entering the Park, visit Official App or Mini Programs [LOYALTY CLUB] and redeem the voucher at the Universal Studios Store, The Darkroom, or Sunset Sweets in Hollywood, between 10:00 and 16:00 on the day of entering the Park. Limited inventories, first come, first served.
*Annual Passholders who purchased the [Annual Passholder Exclusive- Casa de Pavon Buffet Voucher] can claim a physical button at Casa de Pavon during the dining period.

Participation Method 1: Reservation via Official App or Mini Programs
Exclusive to Premium and Plus Annual Passholders! 2000 spots available, first come, first served.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. on January 13th, Premium and Plus Annual Passholders can go to [Loyalty Club] - [My Annual Pass] - [Annual Pass Benefits] on Universal Beijing Resort’s official APP or mini-program to grab the "Annual Pass Holder special event admission voucher”.
After successfully claiming the voucher, you will redeem the “Universal Studios Beijing Special Event Entitlement” on the evening of January 17th, i.e. Universal’s Chinese New Year Annual Passholders’ Preview*
*Annual Passholders who have successfully claimed the “Annual Passholder Special Event Admission Voucher” can validate this voucher to redeem the admission eligibility for the "Universal Studios Beijing Special Event Entitlement" (i.e., the Annual Pass Exclusive Event of Universal Chinese New Year) on the evening of January 17th. Annual Passholders who have successfully made a reservation must bring your physical ID, enter the park for verification, and collect the wristband for the Annual Pass Exclusive Event through an exclusive passage of Annual Passholders before the event starts on January 17th.
You will receive a wristband for the Annual Pass Exclusive Event after successful identity verification and must wear the wristband onsite before park entry. The wristband can only be used by the Annual Passholders who have successfully made a reservation, and it will be considered invalid once it is damaged. It is recommended that Annual Passholders pick up the wristbands outside the exclusive passage for Annual Passholders at least one hour before the event starts. Annual Passholders who have successfully obtained the wristband must undergo a second verification before entering the venue between 19:00 and 21:00 that evening, and only after successful verification can they enter the venue.
*This "Universal Studios Beijing Special Event Entitlement” is the only record of eligibility to enter Universal’s Chinese New Year Annual Passholders' Special Preview Event Admission Verification on the evening of January 17. It is not a ticket to enter the park on January 17. Annual Passholders are still required to make a reservation for the park entry on January 17, through the [Annual Pass Reservation] section of Universal Beijing Resort’s official APP or Mini program.
*Universal’s Chinese New Year Square will open for entry to Annual Passholders with successful reservations at 19:00. Annual Passholders with valid reservations must bring their physical ID and wear the wristband. After successful validation, they can experience the preview event.
*If Annual Passholders who have successfully registered upgrade the Annual Passes, the reservation code may become invalid, therefore, it is recommended that you upgrade after participating in the Universal’s Chinese New Year Preview.
Participation Method 2: Purchase Dining Vouchers at the LOYALTY CLUB
All Annual Passholders can also purchase the [Annual Passholder Exclusive- Casa de Pavon Buffet Voucher] at 10:00 on January 13th in the [LOYALTY CLUB] via the Official App or Mini Programs. (Limited vouchers, first come, first served.)
For only 288 RMB, savor the exquisite flavors of the Chinese New Year. Indulge in the New Year cuisine and usher in luck and prosperity for the coming year!
*The quantity of dining vouchers is limited to 200 in total, first come, first served. This voucher doesn’t grant admission to Universal Studios Beijing and cannot be used as entry admission.
*After entering the Park on January 17th, please proceed to the Casa de Pavon to obtain and put on the exclusive wristbands during the dining period. The wristband can only be used by the Annual Passholders who purchase the buffet voucher, and it will be considered invalid once it is damaged.
*The dining period is from 19:00-20:30. It is recommended that you arrive at the restaurant for dinner no later than 19:30.
*The “Universal’s Chinese New Year” Preview performance Nian Show will commence at 20:30. Annual Passholders who purchase the buffet can take a break after dining, pay attention to the guidance of the on-site staff, bring your physical ID, and wear your wristband. After successful identity verification, you can experience the preview event
*The day of the January 17th CNY Preview Event may be adjusted based on actual circumstances. In consideration of extreme or severe weather or air quality that may impact our operations (e.g. snow, rain, hail, lightning, sandstorm, air pollution, etc.), area capacity, health and safety, and other necessary circumstances of this event, we may:
a. Change the operating hours of this preview
b. Control the number of guests in this preview
c. Suspend or close this preview
(Subject to the actual operation conditions. It is recommended that you turn on the "Push" function of the Universal Beijing Resort APP in advance to check the latest event information on time.)
