- Two types of Universal Studios Beijing Annual Passes to meet the diversified and cost-effective needs of Guests. Universal Studios Beijing Annual Pass - Regular and Universal Studios Beijing Annual Pass - Preferred, priced at RMB 1,688 and RMB 2,288 respectively with 365 days validity period, will officially launch on January 12, 2023, on Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Universal Beijing Resort Alibaba mini program, Universal Beijing Resort WeChat mini program, and Universal Beijing Resort Official Fliggy Flagship Store. Universal Studios Beijing Annual Pass - Regular mainly covers Mondays to Thursdays and selected Fridays and Sundays within the valid time frame, providing no less than 227 permissible days, allowing guests to easily enjoy staggered visits, while students and families can earn great holiday memories during summer and winter vacation. Universal Studios Beijing Annual Pass – Preferred, covers most Mondays to Fridays and part of the weekends within the valid time frame, providing no less than 303 permissible days, making it the ultimate choice for both loyal fans who are looking for a weekend getaway in the blockbuster world and families looking for relaxing time together. "Universal’s Chinese New Year" Is the New Place to Celebrate Chinese New Year in Beijing
As the first popular 2023 seasonal event, from January 12 to February 14, “Universal’s Chinese New Year” of Universal Beijing Resort will present a festive Chinese New Year experience. Chinese New Year themed decorations will be featured throughout the resort, including playful and cute rabbit elements, cheerful lanterns, intriguing Chinese New Year couplets, banners in the style of Chinese papercuts and more. There will also be exclusive Chinese zodiac characters, lion dancing, more limited-time delicacies, and merchandise to provide Annual Passholders and general guests with their first unforgettable holiday memory in the new year. With the launch of Annual Pass on Jan 12, guests can become Passholders right away and enjoy the opportunity to experience a festive Chinese New Year at a great value.
- Universal Studios New Year Blessing Show, characters make surprising debut. Bunnies have become the well-deserved protagonists of the Year of Rabbit. Wo Hop, the quirky rabbit character from DreamWork’s Animation Kung Fu Panda series, as the exclusive movie character of the Chinese Zodiac, will take photos with guests at Universal’s New Year Tree of Fortune to give away New Year blessings. In addition, two blessing lions named "Huan” and “Qiu” (Chinese pronunciation of ‘Universal’), "Jixiang Huanhuan" , “Ruyi Qiuqiu", will make surprising debut. "Jixiang Huanhuan" , “Ruyi Qiuqiu" and Wo Hop will join the Universal Studios New Year Blessing Show together with more than ten movie characters and dancers and celebrate the festive Chinese New Year with guests. - Festive decorations adorning the resort, bringing feelings of festivity and fun. Five giant, six-meter-high landing lanterns with iconic characters and elements will be located on the plaza at Universal CityWalk Beijing, creating a festive Chinese New Year vibe for guests, especially after they light up at night. At Universal Studios Beijing, Chinese New Year themed Po and rabbit sculptures will welcome guests at the park entrance and rows of red lanterns will glow under the Hollywood Boulevard canopy, offering immersive festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year from the moment guests enter the park.
