Universal Beijing Resort will reopen on April 14th, 2025. Some outdoor attractions, shows, and rides at Universal Studios Beijing may be temporarily closed and operational arrangements will be adjusted accordingly for safety.
Due to the orange alert for strong wind and to ensure the safety of guests and team members, Universal Studios Beijing was temporarily closed on April 12 and 13, 2025. Universal CityWalk Beijing was temporarily closed on April 12 afternoon.
For those who have already purchased tickets, we will refund your tickets through the original purchase channel. We apologize again for the inconvenience. Please refer to the refund guidelines for tickets and other related products. Thank you for your understandings and support.
Universal Beijing Resort Ticket Refund and Exchanges
- Tickets
We are currently processing full refunds for guests holding Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket, Universal Express, Universal Express Set of 5, Universal Express Set of 3, Universal Express Single Attraction, VIP Experience, Private VIP Experience (Seasonal Offer), Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket package products for visit on April 12 or 13, 2025. For tickets purchased through Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alipay Mini Program, WeChat Mini Program, Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort JD Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort Official Douyin Flagship Store and Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center, refunds will be automatically returned to the original payment account within 3 days. Guests who purchased products and services through other official authorized channels should contact their original purchase channel to request a refund.
Guests holding Universal Studios Beijing 1.5-Day Dated Ticket with the first day of visit on April 11 or 12 or 13, 2025 will receive a full refund. Guests holding Universal Studios Beijing 2-Day Flex Ticket with the first day of visit on April 12 or 13, 2025 will also receive a full refund, and those with the first day of visit on April 11, 2025 who purchased through Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alipay Mini Program, WeChat Mini Program, Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort JD Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort Official Douyin Flagship Store and Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center will also be eligible for full ticket refund, but must contact Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center (see contact information below) for ticket refund Application. For guests who purchased products through Universal Beijing Resort MICE team, please contact the team through the organizer for further inquiry. Guests who purchased products and services through other official authorized channels should contact their original purchase channel to request a refund.
For the above products purchased for dates after April 14, 2025, guests adjusting their itineraries can apply for refunds themselves according to existing refund policies or consult and process ticket refunds through their original ticket purchase channel.
Guests who have bound a Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket - Gift Ticket Voucher or Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket – Physical Gift Card to their account in the Universal Beijing Resort Official App and redeemed it for a Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket on April 12 or 13, 2025 (i.e. selected a visit date, provided identification, and received a ticket confirmation) will receive a full refund. Guests who purchased the Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket - Gift Ticket Voucher through Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alipay Mini Program, WeChat Mini Program, refunds will be automatically returned to the original payment account within 3 working days. guests who purchased Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket – Physical Gift Card from Universal Beijing Resort Tmall Flagship Store, please contact the original purchase channel to apply for a refund. Guests who purchased Universal Studios Beijing One-Day Dated Ticket – Physical Gift Card or Universal Studios Beijing Ticket Gift Voucher-Enterprise Exclusive through Universal Beijing Resort MICE team, please contact the team through the organizer for further inquiry. For Universal Studios Beijing Two-Visit General Admission Ticket-College Student, Universal Studios Beijing One-Day General Admission Ticket, Universal Studios Beijing One-Day General Admission Ticket + Shopping and Food Package and Universal Studios Beijing Three-Visit General Admission Ticket - Exclusive for Sam's Members, tickets still valid on and after April 12th, 2025, we will extend their validity period by 5 days (while such actions remain subject to the “non-applicable dates” inherent to the purchased product). Guests can check the updates on the Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alipay Mini Program, WeChat Mini Program, Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort JD Flagship Store, and Universal Beijing Resort Official Douyin Flagship Store, or contact their original purchase channel for further inquiry.
For guests holding other Universal Studios Beijing General Admission Products, a new visiting date can be booked after the resort resumes normal operations.
- Universal Studios Beijing Annual Pass
For Universal Studios Beijing Annual Pass still valid on and after April 12th,2025, we will extend their validity period by 5 days. The validity of Annual Pass benefits will also be extended by 5days. Passholders can check the updates on the Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alibaba Mini Program, WeChat Mini Program, Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store , Universal Beijing Resort JD Flagship Store and Universal Beijing Resort Official Douyin Flagship Store.
- Hotels
Guests who had booked to stay while have not checked-in at The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel on April 12, 2025 or April 13, 2025 from Universal Beijing Resort Official App, Alipay Mini Program, WeChat Mini Program, Universal Beijing Resort Fliggy Flagship Store, Universal Beijing Resort Official Douyin Flagship Store and Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center, will automatically receive a full refund from the original purchase channel. The refund will be returned to the original payment account within 3 days. For guests who purchased products and services through other officially authorized channels, please contact the original purchase channel to apply for a refund.
If the guest still wishes to rebook The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and NUO Resort Hotel on April 13, 2025 after the refund, they can make a new reservation for the same hotel and room type as the original order after 13:00pm on April 13th, 2025. They can contact the Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center or the original purchase channel to discuss any changes in price. If the hotel has already been checked in, you may contact the Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center (for contact details, please refer to the end of this text) or the original purchase channel for consultation.

Guests who purchase the dated product in Universal Beijing Resort on April 12 or 13, 2025, like “Universal Studios Beijing · Genshin Impact Interactive Themed Restaurant - Banquet of Brilliant Blossoms Voucher (Single Person)” or ,“Hollywood Bungalow Afternoon Tea Voucher” please contact the Universal Beijing Resort Contact Center or the original purchase channel to apply for a refund.
